ReStore wants to bring the donation site to you!
ReStore DropSpot is a predetermined site where individuals can donate items such as furniture, appliances, and households to one central location. The DropSpots will be held at community focal points such as churches, schools, business, and stores. ReStore will partner with these local organizations in an effort to "Eliminate Poverty Housing" in the midlands.
All donations brought to ReStore DropSpots are tax deductible. The event will happen for one day only at different locations across the midlands.
What to Bring
This is a furniture, appliance, and households drive only. While the ReStore does take other items such as building materials, doors and windows, sinks, etc., those will not be accepted at the DropSpots. If you would like more information on donating these items or others outside of this event, please click here.
Everything donated must be working as is and in good condition, meaning no tears, stains, pet damage/ soiled, etc. We will not accept mattresses, toys, or baby furniture. Please box or bag what you can when donating. For more information on what is and isn't taken, please contact the ReStore at 803.936.0088 or click here for a general description (please note not all items taken at the ReStore are accepted at the DropSpots)
Hosting a ReStore DropSpot
DropSpots are a great way to get involved with a noble organization while gaining positive exposure for your own. The ReStore will advertise with the DropSpot sign a month in advance at your site as well as post the information our website. It is a great way to get youth groups, employees, or organization involved in the community. All furniture collected is taken to the ReStore, sold to the general public, with the proceeds helping Habitat for Humanity in Ricland and Lexington Counties.
